Presentations

In June of 2008, I presented a poster on the simulation of gravitational lensing at the AAS meeting, focusing on the use and implementation of distributed computing. The abstract for that poster can be found here or on NASA ADS.

Additionally, I have given two 10-minute talks at the NASA Missouri Space Grant Consortium on gravitational lensing simulation. The first talk, in April 2008, outlined the general procedure of the simulation of gravitational lensing. The paper accompanying the talk, which was printed in the conference procedings, can be found here. Most recently, in April 2009, I gave a talk on understanding the limitations of using Fast Fourier Transform for the simulation of gravitational lensing, a technique which is often used in mass density reconstructions observationally. The paper accompanying this talk is also available here.
